Sheathing 1 PDF Print E-mail

The craziest, windiest day of the year. Gusts up to 54 MPH at BLI. Not the easiest day to move big sheets of OSB around, but fortunately that was Ken's big job today while i followed on with the nailer and my half-crippled hands. As usual these days, exciting transformations of the sense of space, and now there is a lovely southerly-wind break and partial rain cover. It's strange to see the different light inside (which space is now finally "inside" something). You know a building is really starting to exist when you actually have to walk around it. Today's saving grace was the relative lack of rain, but the building is getting the first taste of that now. We'll see how it did tomorrow. Some more sheathing tomorrow and Saturday, and probably a week or so break after that so i can tend to my hands and the rest of my neglected life (i.e. take a break). :-)

(Probably best to press play on the videos, then pause, then wait for video to load, then play, for smooth playback... they are big files. 2 videos in this playlist.)

To watch the video on this page you'll need to enable Flash objects.

I know.

Alternately, you might need to update your Flash plugin.
