I couldn't help but remember the day we tore down the old garage and we pulled down the last standing walls. Today Ben helped me tip up the first interior wall, and behold, the interior layout begins to take shape, full circle. Made the mistake of assuming that the building wall was plumb, which it's not, and attached the left side of the door frame to it directly instead of shimming it out to correct for that, which would have been easy to do before it was nailed in from five different directions, but now presents me with a dilemma: tear it apart and fix it or compensate later? Probably i will just figure something out down the line when the pocket door goes in... why get it right today when you can jerry rig it later? Anyhow, tomorrow, more of the same.

(Probably best to press play on the videos, then pause, then wait for video to load, then play, for smooth playback... they are big files.)

To watch the video on this page you'll need to enable Flash objects.

I know.

Alternately, you might need to update your Flash plugin.
