Hey, passed the inspection! What a relief. Well, didn't really "pass", more like "failed", but basically passed except for a couple minor things, which are done today in this time lapse. Had to add a few "king studs" for the doorway headers, had to add some blocking at the end of the utility room ceiling joists to prevent rotation, and added a bunch of anchor bolts in the sill plates of the exterior walls. Also spent a fair amount of time staring into space, starting to figure out the plumbing/electrical puzzles that are now before me. I have a small stack of reading material from the library, and i'm studying up. Time lapses may be a bit more sparse over the next week as i spend a lot of time reading, diagramming, and so forth. The follow-up inspection will happen in the next couple days, and hopefully pretty soon after that i'll be getting down and dirty with the plumbing. It's been a while: the internal plumbing was the very first thing i did when starting the project...
