An entirely frustrating day. Made a ton of mistakes, had to redo things, bumped my head into things, etc etc. Guess that's the lack of plumbing experience, there. :-) The most shameful part of the day was when i started drilling the holes in the joists for the 3/4" pipes... I got through about three of them when i suddenly thought to myself... how am i going to get the pipes in the holes? This, i realized in a flash, is why plumbers generally notch studs and joists for their pipes. An embarrassing lesson learned. :-) I was applying electrical techniques to the wild world of plumbing. Anyhow, ran out of materials and parts and patience, so might not get back to it until Tuesday when the hardware store reopens...
