Finishing up the radiant floor, dialing it all in, measuring and re-measuring, etc. Almost ready for the concrete, which may not actually happen until Monday. Inspections passed today, though he didn't sign off on the stack test (sewer drainage thing) for some reason (he said it was all good, but maybe forgot?) Anyway, no big deal.

Had a small terror when I was deflating the weenie (the plug plugging the sewer drain) and as the water started to drain it slipped down the sewer and blocked the main house sewer as well. Then the rope snapped when I tried to drag it out... Fortunately I was able to lariat the air hose with a long stick, two eye hooks, and some wire; Mike held it steady, and I was able to depress the release on the Schrader valve with another long stick and a nail, finish deflating the weenie, and pull it out. Phew. :-)

(Probably best to press play on the videos, then pause, then wait for video to load, then play, for smooth playback... they are big files. 2 videos in this playlist.)

To watch the video on this page you'll need to enable Flash objects.

I know.

Alternately, you might need to update your Flash plugin.
