I come up with lots of clever things to write in the blogarage all day long but when i get here they all vanish. Anyway, got the uppermost girts done but not nailed in on the north and south ends, and the east and west ends await the morrow. Hopefully that morrow will also see the completion of the west pole tops (which need a tad bit of extension) and maybe even the lookouts. I've also decided to frame the ceiling structure before sheathing the roof, since it will be a lot easier to access that way. I also want to add a couple bonus rafters for hanging stuff. I'm counting the days until the sheathing, but the poor, poor hands... I worked all day with a chopstick in my right-hand work glove as a splint to try to take care of the worst finger. We'll see if that helped. If the hands aren't so good tomorrow, i may need another day or two off to nurse them a little bit.
