Everybody said "well, once you get framing it'll fly by", and, "you'll be amazed how fast it goes up when you're framing". I'm not so sure i buy it. Anyway, another rainy day under the belt and the uppermost girts are almost done. Didn't get the west side, but got the east side. The time lapse bugged out near the end of the day, but trust me, they're there. Lots of carpentry to get everything to fit in around the rafter bolts and end rafters and so on. As i assume is normal, the last 2% of the wall takes 90% of the time, to deal with all the corners and intersections and everything. Also measured out the 2x4 ceiling that will be going under the purlins (might get that started tomorrow.) Off to see Ani Difranco tonight!
(Probably best to press play on the videos, then pause, then wait for video to load, then play, for smooth playback... they are big files.)

I know.
Alternately, you might need to update your Flash plugin.
